THEOPHIS, which is the fourth book by Mel Ve, is a Cultural Anthology which presents evidence of the continent of Africa, being ‘theophic’, which is defined as an advanced culture engaging in Ophiolatry - being the worship of dragon deities - whilst performing rituals, engaging in temple building, supported by extensive agriculture, complete with terraforming, large scale canal construction, infrastructure and trade, all happening in prehistoric Africa. Mel Ve presents clear evidence which indicates that the classical historical model for human societal development, is categorically incorrect.
Mel Ve’s incredible discovery point to these activities happening over 70 000 years ago, in what is considered the ‘prehistoric’ era by classical academics, who ignorantly claim that homo sapien was a mere cave dweller at this time, and indeed, we were in the grips of an ice age. These discoveries greatly upset mainstream academia’s official narrative, which incorrectly states that the agricultural revolution only happened 13 000 years before present time, and that we are at the pinnacle of human advancement, having moved from a primitive state, to one of technological advancement. However, nothing could be further from the truth.
The discoveries documented in this Cultural Anthology clearly point out the missing chapters in our history books, particularly in relation to Africa. In this introduction to THEOPHIS, we go on a journey through time to define civilisation, whilst looking at the differences between "civilised" and "primitive" societies, in order that we may identify and recognise the markers of a THEOPHIC culture.
We look at the oldest and largest ancient advanced civilisation to have ever been identified / discovered in the Kalahari dessert of Southern Africa, whilst also exploring the oldest serpent worship / Ophilatrea temple and the offerings / sacrifices made there.

THEOPHIS explores Egypt from the perspective of proving that Egypt was once a THEOPHIC culture, and is probably the most obvious in terms of THEOPHIC cultures on the African continent, having some of the clearest records of the practice of OPHIOLATRY, complete with a full compliment of serpentine deities, which also present in various allegorical anthropmorphical forms, much of which is recorded in their artwork, relief carvings and statues, as well as their and historical texts.
