MY CBD OIL TRIUMPH – I don’t lose… Either I win or I learn

New REAKIRO CBD oil arrived with 15% CBD concertration

MY CBD OIL TRIUMPH – I don’t lose… Either I win or I learn! | After a multi year search, I finally found a reliable source of third party tested, high quality CBD oil products, which we are able to get here in Portugal where I presently reside, and can be shipped all over the world.  In fact, the results were so pleasing that I could not wait to get onto my blog and share the news.

The search for properly tested Cannabis oil products has taken several years and several disappointments, resulting in some rather hostile endings and toxic backlash from the suppliers and distributors of said dodgy Cannabis based products, which I have documented in previous blogs such as CBD Oil scammers strike again!  It has been an incredible journey, and through it all, we have met some interesting people, whilst finally arriving at the point of being able to access, test and recommend a good quality brand of CBD oil products, which have been certified by independent third party testing.

Furthermore, my new CBD supplier sent me a free sample box of five different CBD products, including a very potent REAKIRO CBD Oil containing 15% Cannabidiol, which came in the most beautiful cylinder box packaging, containing a safety seal to guarantee that the product had not been tampered with.  Furthermore, this bottle of 15% CBD Oil had the batch number and expiry date of the product printed on the side of the bottle.  Included inside the box of samples was all the third party test certificates to prove that these products were legitimate, certified and followed the European Union Consumer Protection Regulations that are set by the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Network and the Cannabis Trade Association based in Amsterdam.  After a lengthly, hectic journey of trial and error, being scammed and learning the hard way, whilst growing my knowledge base about CBD products, I was so excited to finally see how a legitimate CBD manufacturer and distributor operates.

After checking out all the documents, I immediately tried all the samples in order to test it out.  Of course the product that I was most interested in was the 15% CBD oil, which came with a dropper.  I placed a small drop under my tongue, and the effects were near instant.  Within a few minutes, I could feel the CBD activating my Endocannabinoid system and balancing out my brain chemistry.  My focus was sharper, my anxiety was gone, my mood was lifted… Indeed, not even a hint of that depressed heavy feeling I have had for the past fortnight, which had been worsened by lockdown and toxic people.  Truly, I felt the most motivated that I have felt in several weeks, and I got more work done in one day than I had in the entire week prior.  Nothing could distract me from what needed to be done.  In fact, I have never had such an intense reaction to any product that I had previously tried.

My previous foray into purchasing CBD Oil, was done in an attempt to remedy my kitty called Porridge, who has feline dermatitis, resulting in constant scratching and scabs on her skin, but unfortunately, this 2% CBD Oil product for animals that I purchased specifically to treat my cat, did not work at all.  With the new CBD products I have just received, I was ever so keen to try them on my kitty, and I was not disappointed.  Almost immediately, the incessant scratching and itching abated, and I have noticed that the scabs are starting to dry up and fall off after just three days of usage.

Obtaining quality CBD products from outside of Portugal

WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN PURCHASING CBD OIL

ASK FOR TEST CERTIFICATES – Before purchasing any CBD Oil product, ask to see their test certificates.

THIRD PARTY TESTING – A legitimate CBD manufacturer producing quality product, will pride themselves on getting their products regularly tested through a laboratory that specialises in food testing, as CBD Oil is classified as a ‘Food Supplement’.  At no point is acceptable for a CBD Oil company to produce a test certificate for their own products as their results can be compromised or outright fraudulent.  It costs about 100 pounds per test, but a good CBD Oil company will pay to have their products tested, and should normally publish their test certificates online via their website, or they will be able to send you recent test certificates via email.  That all being said, with photoshop and other digital editing software available, it is also rather easy to create fake documents, so feel free to contact the third party testing facility to check if the test certificates are authentic.

BATCH / LOT NUMBER AND EXPIRY DATE – The batch or lot number should be printed on the side of the bottle of CBD Oil, along with the expiry date.  All food supplements are required to have this information in order to comply with the European Union Consumer Protection Regulations that are set by the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Network.

OIL COLOUR – Good quality CBD oil will have a slight green to dark green colour, bordering on brownish, depending on the strength.  That means there is a good percentage of plant extract in the oils.  Any CBD oil that is only slightly yellow or transparent, usually means it is of poor quality or over diluted with carrier oils, and has little to no health benefit.

TASTE & SMELL – The Cannabis plant has a distinctive taste and smell, which lends itself to CBD oil.  Even if the CBD oil product is flavoured, there should be an after taste of the Cannabis plant.  If one cannot register the taste or smell, that is because the oil is over diluted, or has no Cannabis content, making it a fake oil.  Test certificates can be fake, but the real proof is in the taste and smell, but most importantly, the healing results.

SAFETY SEAL – All health and food supplements are required to have a safety seal on them, to ensure that the product has not been tampered with.  Ensure that this seal is intact.  If not, return the product to the distributor / manufacturer.

CUSTOMER SERVICE – A reputable CBD oil manufacturer will replace any product that does not meet the basic standards, such as in the case of product being expired, or not having the expiry date and batch number printed on the side of the packaging, or having a broken safety seal.

MANUFACTURERS AND DISTRIBUTORS – It is important to know the difference between Manufacturers and Distributors.  The first six points above are the responsibility of the ‘Manufacturer’ of the CBD oil.  The ‘Distributor’ is not responsible for the making of the product, nor are they involved with or responsible for the testing process.  Independent third party test certificates should be provided by the ‘Manufacturer’ to the ‘Distributor’, so that said ‘Distributor’ can pass these certificates onto customers.  However, it is up to ‘Distributors’ to ensure that the above mentioned basic requirements are met before selling a CBD Oil product on to customers.  Dodgy ‘Manufacturers’ rely on clueless or wilfully ignorant ‘Distributors’, to get their dodgy CBD Oil product sold to the public.

DISTRIBUTOR KNOWLEDGE – As there is no regulation on who can sell CBD Oil, I have come across clueless ‘Distributors’ who really have no knowledge of what is good or bad, what the regulations are, etc.  They are only in the game for profit, not to help people. A reliable ‘Distributor’ will ensure they are in possession of all the corresponding, up to date test certificates, and properly marked and packaged products, prior to selling them onto CBD oil customers.  The distributor is the safety barrier between the ‘Manufacturer’ and the end user of the CBD oil product.  In much the same fashion, as a Pharmacist who distributes drugs made by pharmaceutical companies, a CBD oil ‘Distributors’ should have a firm knowledge of natural health and alternative medicine.  Never purchase any product from a person who does not know the basics, particularly when it comes to health products, as it is never a good idea to play Russian Roulette with your health.

CBD OIL SCAMMERS – The CBD oil industry has seen a massive boom due to the fact that the Cannabis plant is the most versatile medicinal plant on the planet, with virtually no negative side effects, resulting in the sharp rise in popularity of Cannabis derived products such as CBD Oil.  Many clueless people are cashing in by selling these products, without actually having a grasp of the nomenclature, and without knowing the scientific facts, and without having a grasp of the basic legal aspects such as those required by the European Union Consumer Protection Regulations that are set by the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Network.  It is important that you be a Conscious Consumer, so that you do not get scammed by dodgy CBD oil product manufacturers and distributors.  Obtaining good quality CBD Oil can be tricky, because there are many criminals and sharks that have seized upon this fast growing industry and the popularity of CBD oil products.  As this is a relatively new industry, there is very little regulation on CBD product, and thus, there are many dodgy manufacturers out there, and equally, there are many clueless / wilfully ignorant distributors who care only about money as opposed to health, and who do not have a sufficient knowledge base to be prescribing alternative medicines and food supplements.  They just ignorantly sell sub par products whilst neglecting to follow all the necessary safety checks to ensure their customers get a quality product.

CONSCIOUS CONSUMER TESTED – This new range of CBD products I have been sent is the real deal, and indeed, a hard won treasure.  I had almost given up on the whole CBD movement due to the terrible experiences I have previously had in obtaining legitimate products, both at the hands of manufacturers and distributors.  In my efforts to track down quality CBD oils and products, I have learned a great deal and done several public exposes of dodgy CBD Oils, their manufacturers and their distributors.  Due to my ongoing work in this area, I was invited to an event in February 2020, by the Cannabis Trade Association to the launch of a Trade Mark, which will be applied to quality assured CBD products.

For many years, I have been well aware of the medicinal and health benefits of cannabis and the oils derived from them called CBD oils, which can be used to treat a variety of ailments.  Indeed, the cannabis plant is possibly the most medicinal plants on the planet.  I have been researching this medicine for a number of years.  This process has included reaching out to and interviewing many advocates of this therapeutic, natural remedy, including interviewing Rick Simpson back in 2013.  Since then, I have spoken to and learned from many doctors, homeopathic practitioners, naturopaths and alternative therapists of all kinds, in order to grow my knowledge about the endocannabinoid system within the human body, and how it responds to cannabinoids from the Cannabis plant, whilst watching as one by one, countries around the world began to end the prohibition of cannabis cultivation.  It has been a beautiful and fulfilling experience to see the end of Cannabis prohibition in my lifetime, whilst watching the emergence of an ever growing body of research into the benefits of cannabis based medicines.

THE STORY OF MY BAD PAST EXPERIENCES WITH CBD OIL

Following the instructions from Rick Simpson, I had in the past been able to make Cannabis derived oils, but it had a very high Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content, which is the component that makes one very stoned.  I had also been given similarly comprised good quality Cannabis oils from various people who also made their own, and although it was good, it too make one very stoned from the THC.  As I finished my Herbalism qualification, I learned that the most healing combination of Cannabis oils came from a higher percentage of Cannabidiol (CBD) as opposed to Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).  With a sound knowledge and a growing trust in Cannabis based CBD oils, I have in the past not had much luck in obtaining a good quality supply.  In fact, my first two attempts to obtain CBD oils from dodgy dealers, became rather traumatic following my public expose of said dodgy dealers, due to their over aggressive toxic backlash when I dared to question their dodgy practices.

UNSACRED – Dean Oliver’s dodgy CBD oil called Sacred Kana
Independent third party test certificate indicating that Dean Oliver’s Sacred Kana had less than 1% CBD content

DEAN OLIVER & SACRED KANA

My first foray into CBD oil came from a man I met as a guest on Conscious Consumer Network, by the name of Dean Oliver, who was pushing his brand of CBD oil called Sacred Kana.  Dean Oliver claimed that his CBD oil had 10% CBD content, but several people including ourselves had had this product tested by independent laboratories, and it turned out that Dean Oliver’s Sacred Kana, had less than 1%. Thanks to the many people that Dean had scammed, there was no shortage of witnesses to confirm our findings via their own experiences.

Furthermore, Dean Oliver had published a fake test certificate on his website.  We tracked down the company that supposedly did the test for Sacred Kana, and it turns out that they have never done testing for Cannabis oils, rather they are a petrochemical company that had nothing to do with CBD oils what so ever.

Needless to say that when we confronted Dean Oliver about his dodgy CBD oil sales operation, he got very nasty, even publicly attacking my husband and I at a busy market, falsely claiming that my husband pimped me out to pay off a drug debt.

Fake Test Certificates that were on the Sacred Kana website

After some research into Dean Oliver, we soon learned that he had spent almost 10 years in jail for armed robbery due to having to support a heroine addiction.  Sadly these sort of criminals is what the CBD industry attracts, hence why we have had so many difficult experiences with those involved in the sale and distribution of CBD oil and its derivative products

I published a full expose of my findings about Sacred Kana onto a website which was online for about a year, but we let it go when it came time to renew the domain registration, as Dean Oliver had ended his Sacred Kana business after our expose.  Following on from that expose, which went viral, I was contacted by 12 different people who shared some very interesting stories about their experience with Dean Oliver and his dodgy CBD oils, including several of Dean Oliver’s ex business partners, and all of them furnished me with scathing reports, which only confirmed what I had come to know.

ELAINE ARCHER & PHARMAHEMP

Following that ordeal, I had for some time been hesitant about purchasing cannabis oils of any kind, as it is almost impossible to tell what percentage of the active ingredients are present in these oils, without having them tested at a proper testing facility, which can be costly.

What prompted me to fall into the trap of purchasing yet another dodgy brand of CBD, was the fact that one of my precious kittens has dermatitis, and is in much discomfort.  Upon seeing an advert which came across one of the community pages on Facebook that I administer, indicating that CBD Oil can cure dermatitis, I decided to contact the Portugal CBD distributor called Elaine Archer, who dropped a bottle off the next day.

Elaine Archer operating under the title of PORTUGAL CBD, was selling a brand called POOR DOG CHARLIE, made by PH PRO, which is a subsidiary of PHARMAHEMP, which came in three flavours, being peanut, salmon and bacon.  Elaine Archer ensured me that this brand was suitable for cats, and thus, I ordered a bottle with the very last spending money for the month of January, as my cats are my life, and I want them to be well and to heal.  Nothing in my life has a greater priority than the wellbeing of my kitty babies, which are my children.  I asked Elaine Archer at the time to send me the test certificates in order to see the CBD content before ordering, but she did not send them, rather she was very pushy about coming over the next day to sell me the bottle of oil, and indeed, I ended up with the bottle of oil without having received the requested test certificates.

Nonetheless, I began twice daily administrations of the pet care oils, which came in a 10 ml bottle with a dropper.  I squirted it directly into my cats mouth rather than mixing it with food, to ensure she was getting the exact dosages.

PH PRO POOR DOG CHARLIE BRAND OF PREMIUM HEMP PET CARE SHOWING 2% CBD CONTENT
POOR DOG CHARLIE premium hemp pet care, claims on the label to have a 2% CBD content, which is mixed with a MCT base oil, which is derived from coconut.  After several weeks of usage, the bottle was nearly empty, and there was absolutely no improvement to the condition of my precious kitty’s dermatitis.  I was more than prepared to purchase a second bottle of oil just to see if prolonged usage would perhaps result in some sort of positive effect, but I was not going to purchase the second bottle of oil without seeing the test certificates.  And thus, I messaged Elaine Archer and requested that she send over the test certificates in order that I could see exactly what was in these oils.

TEST CERTIFICATES THAT I WAS GIVEN BY ELAINE ARCHER – NOTE – NOT FROM INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY

Test certificates are not from a third party, rather they are produced by the manufacturer, and they do not indicate CBD content anywhere

DODGY TESTING DOCUMENTS – First thing I noticed was that these test certificates were produced by PH PRO and PHARMA HEMP, not a reputable independent third party testing facility.  Secondly, this test certificate was not applicable to the product I had purchased from Elaine Archer, as I had purchased the BACON flavour, and this test certificate is for the PEANUT flavour pet range CBD Oil.  But what really surprised me was that no where on the test certificate did it indicate the percentage of CBD content.  In fact it had been left off the test certificate all together.  Their was an indication of 0.2% THC content, but absolutely no CBD content mentioned at all, despite the label of the bottle stating that it had a 2% CBD content.

NO BEST BEFORE DATE AND NO BATCH NUMBER

From the previous exposes I have done about dodgy CBD suppliers, I learned from the research I conducted with the assistance of the Cannabis Trade Association based in Amsterdam, that each batch needs to have its own test certificate, and that the number of the batch should appear on the test certificate, and that number should correspond with the number on the bottle of CBD oil.

When I went looking for the batch number on the test certificate, there was none.  Furthermore, when I went looking for the batch number on the vile of POOR DOG CHARLIE I had purchased, there was no batch number there either.  But to make matters even worse, there was no expiry / Best Before date on the bottle.

Without a BATCH NUMBER and  expiry / BEST BEFORE date printed on the bottle, this product fails to meet the European Union Consumer Protection Regulations that are set by the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Network.

When I pointed this out to Elaine Archer, she insisted that I was stupid, even telling me to “look closer” as if I did not know what I was talking about, and so I sent her a picture of the bottle of oil that she had sold me to show her that this bottle did NOT have a BATCH NUMBER and it did not have an expiry / BEST BEFORE date printed on the bottle.

Elaine Archer then accused me of washing the BATCH NUMBER and the expiry / BEST BEFORE date off the bottle.  I suppose I also washed the BATCH NUMBER off of the digital copy of the test certificate she sent me, as this vital information is missing from there too.

Elaine Archer then offered to come and pick up the bottle from me, at which point I asked her for a refund, which she refused to do, and so I told her that I would then keep the remaining small quantity of oil and have it independently tested via my connections that I have used when I was doing my previous investigation and exposes of dodgy CBD oil suppliers.  Elaine Archer then insisted that she did not want me to keep any of the remaining oil, even though I had paid for it.  Elaine Archer instead insisted that she would have the oil tested here in Portugal.  The problem is that there is no testing facility in Portugal, a fact I am very well aware of, having previously tried to find one myself.  The closest testing facility is at Valencia University in Spain.  I told Elaine Archer that since I had paid for the product, I would keep what was left and that I would have it independently tested, and that she could come and collect the bottle and take up the various before mentioned discrepancies with her supplier PH PRO.

Elaine Archer became very nervous when I mentioned that I was going to have the oils independently tested, and she then changed her tune and offered to give me a full refund when she came to collect the bottle, with the condition that I leave all the remaining oil inside.  I reluctantly agreed to this course of action and attempted to end the conversation, but Elaine Archer was adamant that she wanted to push liability onto me, making further comments to the effect of:

“Do not wash the bottle as they will know. It is going back, have no doubts. If I see it has been tampered with then sorry”

To which I responded:

“Your desperation to push the liability onto me is absolutely disgraceful. I do not need to wash it. There is NO best before date and NO batch number. Your insinuation is making you look very suspicious indeed.”

At this point, I had had enough.  Not only was there no improvement in my cat’s dermatitis, there was no independent third party test certificates, there was no CBD content listed on the test certificates, and she had sent me the certificates for the wrong product.  Furthermore, there was no BATCH NUMBER on the test certificates, just as there was no BATCH NUMBER and no expiry / BEST BEFORE date on the bottle I had purchased… And it was being insinuated that I had somehow removed the information on the bottles in an attempt to obtain a refund.

My final message to Elaine Archer was as follows:

“For someone who has nothing to hide you sure are defensive.  Not even an apology…. Shame on you. Don’t worry, you will get your bottle back tomorrow, unwashed and in pristine condition. Your insinuation that I somehow would remove the the details on the bottle has motivated me to get it tested and that is what I am now going to do. I now no longer care about the money. I will expose you for the scamming fraud that you are.  I simply cannot abide by people scamming sick people and animals… sorry, that is the lowest of low.”

Message to Elaine Archer:  Maybe you should just admit that you are dealing with a dodgy company, as their product does not work, and they have failed to provide you with adequate information on the test certificates and on the product themselves.  I am amazed that you would even send me a test certificate without the appropriate information on it, possibly because you had not done your due diligence in examining the paperwork for yourself.  Based on this, I would also suggest that you are not competent enough to be selling alternative medicines, when you are clearly negligent in following through with your responsibility as a distributor of live saving medicine, which would include ensuring all the regulatory matters are in place, such as accurately labelled bottles and corresponding certificates.  As CBD is used to treat terminal illnesses such as cancer, it is important that such sufferers have access to accurate information, so that they can make accurate decisions about the medicines that they are putting into their bodies.  Playing Russian Roulette with people’s health is highly unethical.

ELAINE ARCHER

I realised that Elaine Archer did not have a clue what she was doing, and thus, I began to correspond via email directly with PHARMA HEMP in order to fully investigate this matter to its fullest extent.  I then sent all the email correspondence to Elaine Archer in full transparency, so that she could see the communications, and how I was exploring this matter with Pharma Hemp.

The full details of said correspondence can be viewed on my article entitled CBD Oil scammers strike again

Elaine Archer then sent me the following message via Facebook Messenger:

“Oi vermin, im bored of your bollocks now, so stick your naturopathic crap and all your retarded date shit as far up your ass as as you can before your pervert husband gets a stiffy and has to go whack off infront of the kids club, again..now fuck off… ?”

This was indeed a rather overwrought response.  Clearly this woman was panicking.

And thus I responded:

“Oh wow… Elaine, That comment about my husband “wacking off” in front of a kids club… where the hell did that come from?  Is that what you say to people who catch you out on a scam?    That is seriously cruel and hateful. That is serious slander.  The fact that you even send such a message containing such perverted lies, only indicates your intention to bully me into backing off. I will now be taking this to the police and charging you with slander, as you have now gone too far. Furthermore, I am not the one in question here. I purchased a product from you, which did not have the expiry date or batch number.  The certificate you gave me was not from a third party, and did not have the percentage CBD that was advertised on the label.  As a savvy and Conscious Consumer, I have the right to question these matters.  So far I have not had a satisfactory response from yourself (the distributor) or your supplier (the manufacturer).  My credibility in this matter is not in question.  The fact that you try to accuse me of washing the expiry dates and batch number off the bottle is just ludacris, followed by crazy provably false allegations about my husband, only discredits you.  Seems I am the one who gave you too much credit by trusting you and purchasing from you to begin with. Your behaviour and allegations towards me and my husband only makes you look guilty as hell.”

I then furnished Elaine Archer with Article 180 of the Portuguese Criminal Code which punishes defamation (difamação), and which is defined as alleging a fact or formulating a judgment (or reproducing such) about a third person that is offensive to that person’s honour or reputation – with up to six months in prison or a fine of 240 days. http://legaldb.freemedia.at/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/PortugalCriminalDef_IPI_ENG.pdf
One has to wonder… If Elaine Archer was really operating ethically, why she would find the need to sink as low as to levy perverted slanderous false allegations?  It is interesting to note that Dean Oliver also fell into the unfortunate trap of levying ridiculous false claims when we caught him out on his CBD scam.  This seems to be the modus operandi for criminals who get caught – slander, project and attempt to deflect by means of perversion diversion in an attempt to discredit.

Conquering Covidity the natural way

Ps: below is a small article I wrote which I hope is of interest:
#thegreenCEO

Like everyone reading this blog, we have all lost loved ones due to illness and disease, I am no exception. I lost my mother over 10 years ago. She was only 64 years old, a non-smoker, and in perfect health throughout her life, but cancer took her away from us. My five siblings and I were devastated as any family would be.

Every day I still wonder and wish I could have done more to help her. At the time, I felt helpless, I needed more information. I did not know where to turn to find the best solutions, I only wish I knew then what I know now.

When I started Reakiro I was told mostly about CBD oils and the good and positive results it had on people. When we started to produce it ourselves we to received many many letters of thanks and praise from customers for how it was helping in numerous areas of their health and well-being . Reading these letters was – and still is – the most rewarding part of my job.

I can promise you this, the quality of our product is the highest we can possibly produce. This is a product that we would give with pride to our own mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. We consider your family our family, and we’ve made a product which can hopefully help families everywhere, naturally.

From Rotten Roots come Rotten Fruits

From Rotten Roots come Rotten Fruits | This is a story I have held off telling for sometime, as it has taken me quite a while to process it.  I have finally grasped the lesson I was meant to learn, and thus, I share my journey and insights of this particular thread of my reality, which in effect, ties into a number several other blogs posts, where I have chronicled our challenges within our current reality.

LUNAR COLLOIDAL SILVER

As a community outreach effort, I began giving away bottles of my LUNAR SILVER in 2018, to the community here in the Algarve, with the intention of having natural remedies circulating and accessible to anybody who needed them.  I have a great belief in being kind and caring, within the limitations of my available resources.  I met some lovely people through this process of sharing health and healing elixirs, and indeed, it was through this project that I met a very kind elderly Dutch lady who took me up on my offer of a free bottle of my LUNAR SILVER.  This elderly Dutch lady moved within the local community of animal lovers, and she would take her dog from Bensafrim to Albufeira every Wednesday for training, and would pass through Lagoa where I live, and we would sometimes meet for lunch.  Through this Dutch lady, I was introduced to the Dog / Animal rescue crowd, and in particular, I was introduced to a British woman by the name of Joanne Eastman, who lived Lagoa not to far from me, and who rescues dogs, having multiple dog kennels in her back yard.

Joanne Eastman took an interest in my knowledge and my products, and I was invited around to her home to deliver some of my produce, and we initially seemed to get along very well.  We exchanged products, information, ideas and connections, and I was even invited on one of her boozy girly lunches with two other local ladies who are also animal lovers.   Joanne Eastman then invited me to host one of my Algarvian Life Cheese and Wine parties at her home in December 2019, which is something I had been doing with several other people I know.  It was at this party that a lady by the name of Lisa showed up, a woman I had never met before, and who had not been invited to this party.  I was eventually going to go on to take over Lisa’s apartment in Carvoeiro, which came with many problems, which I thus chronicled in my blog post entitled THE TOLL OF 2020.

Joanne Eastman prided herself on being a “connector of people”, and tried in earnest to connect me with as many relevant people as she could.  As it turns out, every single person I met through this British woman, was totally toxic, with some of them being total scammers, hence the title of this blog FROM ROTTEN ROOTS COMES ROTTEN FRUITS.  At the time I thought she was trying to help me, but as I was soon to realise, she had an ulterior motive.  Joanne Eastman wanted in on my extended circle of international contacts, and she was palming off her dodgy connections onto me with the hope of reciprocation.

In January 2020, after she had come back from a holiday in Thailand, we met for lunch at Algar Seco in Carvoeiro, where this Joanne Eastman pitched an idea to me, which she made out was meant to be a total benefit to me.  The idea was that she wanted to sell her house, and she wanted me to introduce her to my international network of connections in order to do so, whilst offering a paltry 1% commission in the event of my connections purchasing her home.  The local estate agencies in the area charge at least 5% commission, and this woman did not want to pay that commission to the Estate Agency that was marketing her property.  I proposed that in order to market it independently, she needed a website, which is something that my husband’s business consultancy company does.  It was decided at this lunch, where she drank down several glasses of wine very fast, that we would have another lunch meeting and bring our husbands along to discuss the potential collaboration.

I had briefly met Joanne Eastman’s husband Karl Eastman previously, but only in passing whilst coming in and out of her house, and my first impressions of him were not positive.  Karl Eastman was aloof and unfriendly, and I honestly did not like him right from the get go.  My initial instincts were warranted when we met for lunch at Club Nau in Ferragudo.  From the moment we sat down, this Karl Eastman began to insult her in a violent way, and this was the ongoing tone throughout our luncheon.  The more he drank, the worse he got.  Joanne  tried to shrug it off as banter, but it made my husband and I very uncomfortable, as we do not communicate with each other in such a nasty and derogatory way.  We eventually finished lunch, and my husband paid the majority of the bill, with a paltry contribution from the Karl Eastman.

It was suggested that we move from Club Nau over to Harry’s Bar in Carvoeiro, where two of my husband’s business associates joined us for drinks.  Joanne Eastman had gotten so intoxicated, that in front of her equally inebriated, unpleasant husband Karl, she ask my husband’s business associates how big their penises were, which they did not take kindly to, and later expressed to me in private that they felt as if they had been sexually harassed.  Needless to say I was very embarrassed to find this out and to be associated with such behaviour.  At a certain point, my husband had to leave with his business associates for a further business meeting, and they went to Chef’s Kitchen.  I was left with Joanne and Karl Eastman, who were by this stage both totally intoxicated with alcohol.  The moment my husband left, Karl Eastman turned his attention from attacking his wife with verbal insults, to attacking my husband and I in a most cowardly fashion, almost as if he had been waiting for my husband to leave before emotionally abusing me.  One of his comments about my husband was that my husband was a “cheap skate”, which I found rich, considering that my husband had paid the majority of the lunch bill of a lunch, where they were trying to manipulate my husband and I into working for them for free.  I sat for about two hours listening to this vile attack, and even tried to defend some of it.  Talk about cheap.

During this boozy session at Harry’s Bar, the Karl Eastman went on to brag about how much money he had spent gambling, and how he had left the UK to avoid paying 1.5 million pounds in income taxes.  He bragged about all these dodgy escapades as if it was meant to impress me.  At a certain point I realised that this guy was utter trash as he comes across like a typical gangster thug, and he was very course and uncouth.  This was most certainly not the kind of people I was used to hanging out with, having grown up in a wealthy home with a snobby mother who only surrounded us with other such people.  I have however tried to cultivate a more open heart and humble attitude without judgement and thus, I have opened myself up to many of the wrong sort, and Joanne and Karl Eastman are definitely the wrong sort.

It became clearly obvious that Karl Eastman was a toxic narcissist, and by the end of my encounter with Joanne Eastman, I realised that she is no better.  She just tries harder to hide it, whereas Karl Eastman simply does not give a damn that nobody likes him.  I recalled a conversation I had had with Joanne Eastman about her husband over the before mentioned boozy girly lunch, where she moaned through the entire lunch about how much she disliked Karl, and how she could not wait for him to die, so that she could live her life.  She also stated that the only reason she was still with him was for his money.  She had also mentioned that her husband had no friends, and that they rarely socialise with other couples, and I could fully see what that was the case.  In fact, the Cheese and Wine I hosted at her house was specifically scheduled to coincide with her husband’s trip out of town.

Furthermore, I had been purchasing Joanne Eastman’s raw pet food for my cats, which she made at her home, and which had poisoned one of my cats to so badly that we nearly lost him.  The food was contaminated with bacteria, which came as no surprise, given that I had experienced several incidences at her home where there was a clear lack of hygiene.  One such incident involved one of Joanne Eastman’s rescue dogs biting me on the ankle, and she did not even so much as offer me any anti bacterial to clean the wound.  As a result, my ankle swelled to twice its size, and I still have a lump on the area of the bite.  This same dog bit my husband to the point of bleeding, through his jeans, the night that we hosted our Cheese and Wine party at her house, so clearly this dog was an issue.  Then too, my husband was not even offered so much as a sterilising agent to clean the bite wound.  Considering we had given this woman LUNAR SILVER, which would have been the perfect anti bacterial to use for cleaning a dog bite, we were surprised that she did not even offer it to us to clean out infected wounds.

At a certain point during this horrible session where I was subjected to the abuse of a toxic narcissist and his inelegant gold digger wife, I had had enough, and I got up and left to join my husband down the road at his meeting, arriving clearly traumatised by the abuse I had been subjected to at the hands of Karl Eastman.

Shortly after the boozy lunch with Joanne and Karl Eastman, we fell out.  I began to realise that her external locus of identity, which was heavily invested in being a dog rescue fanatic, is nothing more than a very thin pseudo veneer masking Joanne and her husband’s dodgy business and practices where they were actually using and abusing people, profiting off the labour of others without adequate compensation for said labour.   One such business included a massage parlour in Carvoeiro called Pure Sensations, where the Thai slave labour were not paid a salary.  Upon speaking to an other contact, who was an animal behavioural expert I had met through the Eastmans, I learned that they had a habit of trying to get people to work for them for free.  I mean, it is one thing to love dogs and to rescue them, but that does not make you a good person when you do not treat people correctly and compensate them adequately for their work.

It also became clear to me that this trashy British couple had a severe drinking problem.  When I confronted this Joanne with several matters that I found concerning with regards to her conduct and practices, she become threatening and abusive, and began a smear campaign, threatening to destroy my humanitarian projects.  The eventual fallout with them over their drunken antics was so traumatic, that I decided to give up drinking alcohol, and I have barely touched a drop ever since this incident.

I have since heard stories of how Joanne and Karl Eastman have a reputation for public drunken brawls and making a public spectacle of themselves often when they go out drinking, with one incident even resulting in Joanne Eastman flipping a table at Harry’s Bar in a drunken rage.  Hearing the stories around Carvoeiro about Joanne and Karl Eastman, made me realise that they are definitely people you do not want to get mixed up with, as they are utterly toxic, no matter how much of a humanitarian facade Joanne Eastman puts on.  Furthermore, Joanne claims she is a connector of people, and introduced me to many people.  Initially I thought she was being nice, but I came to realise that she was doing this so that I would introduce her to my extended international networks.  Being a “connector of people” as she claimed to be, was not done for any other reason than to get something back in return.

Very recently, one of the people I met through them, a lady Elaine Archer, who sells CBD products here in the Algarve, scammed me by selling me dodgy CBD oil, which I had purchased hoping to treat my cat for dermatitis.  In fact, every single person I met through Joanne Eastman was so dodgy, that they have either scammed me, or brought nothing but drama and negativity into my life.  Indeed, FROM ROTTEN ROOTS COMES ROTTEN FRUITS.

I have learned so much though this particular cosmic entanglement, and all the periphery drama that was associated to it, including the fact that at no point is it ever beneficial to entertain toxic people in my reality.  I have written much about this in my blog called THE GREAT DETOX.  Fortunately I am the kind of person that does not lose.  I either win or I learn

The moral of the story is, now more than ever, we need to be discerning about who we let into our lives.  It takes only a moment to say or do something nasty and hurtful, and a lifetime to heal the damage.  There is nothing wrong with having standards, and I do not care if people call me a snob, because the truth is, that is my background. That is where I come from.  I am simply used to better quality people, and indeed, I advocate for being brutal in defining your boundaries of what you will and wont put up with, and that is not just about class, that is relevant to emotional intelligence and integrity too.  Never lower your standards, because when you play with pigs, you will get dirty.  Following the fallout which included some rather hostile Facebook messages from Joanne, I got to see just what a nasty, low class piece of trash she and her husband Karl really are.

The most important lesson I have learned is how to hold my head up high no matter what gossip is going around from the lips of nasty toxic people with vendettas.  At the end of the day, they are only spreading lies, and they cannot prove any of the malicious falsities they put in an attempt to put me down so that they may elevate themselves.   I won’t be bullied into shame when I have nothing to be ashamed of.  I know who I am and that I am a good person from a high profile, wealthy family, and I do amazing humanitarian focussed work, having a sizeable international following and the respect of far better people than the Eastmans.  Fortunately for me I have developed a thick skin from many years of investigative journalism, which has taught me to know myself, and never to let myself be defined by the opinions of others.  I am far too strong in my own being to allow myself to be bullied out town by the trashy antics of two classless, violent alcoholics, which is clearly Joanne Eastman’s intention, as she has taken much pleasure in trying to humiliate my husband and I by spreading malicious lies and gossip.

One of the positive aspects of this story is that I gave up drinking alcohol completely after seeing what it did to the Eastmans.  Furthermore, I will no longer hang out in bars and other places that serve alcohol, as they tend to attract toxic people with toxic habits, and as a result, exhibit toxic behaviours which can be hurtful and even outright damaging to other people.  Another positive aspect is that I appreciate my husband so much.  Over our 20 year marriage, we have struggled from time to time with various aspects of our reality, but at least he is a good, kind and pleasant person, and we only ever speak well of each other to other people.  We laugh together, we cry together, indeed, we do everything together, and I would not have it any other way.  Not for all the money in the world would I ever get with or stay with a man like Karl Eastman, a man who, from the moment we sat down for lunch that day at Club Nau, attacked and belittled his wife in a violent way.  Love, respect and appreciation is everything in a marriage, and all the money in the world can never replace that, in my humble opinion.

CBD Oil Scammers strike again!

Cannabis – Marijuana oil extracts in jars and leaves for treatment.

CBD Oil Scammers strike again | As a qualified Naturopathic Practitioner and Herbalist, I have for a number of years now made many of my own natural remedies.  Those that I have been unable to make, I have tried to source from ethical suppliers, but this is always a tricky thing to do.  One of the most precarious products to source it good quality CBD oil.

Oils derived from Cannabis plants containing CBD and THC, have been proven to have highly therapeutic healing properties.  Cannabis for medical use works as a power button (THC) and a dimmer switch (CBD) with all of the other chemicals providing everything in between.  The novel ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM in our bodies that regulates all of the other systems, works the same.  The people of the world have been taught to fear the power button because too much can be a bad thing and that’s true, but they don’t know about the dimmer switch or that the system itself IS the dimmer switch for our health, and dimmer switches need power or they don’t work.  But there is a plant that provides both.  If the immune system is overactive this is the best way to turn it down.  This is the biggest medical discovery ever made, and yet, it beggars belief that cannabis is still illegal in some parts of the world, although, that is changing and fast.

The explosion in the popularity of cannabis derived oils containing CBD and THC, has opened the way for many people to jump on the bandwagon, however, there has been as serious lapse in quality control of this product, with many sub standard brands on the market.

As the Creative / Content Director of Conscious Consumer Network, we are obligated to speak out when we come across Snake Oil Sales men or women, particularly those who are scamming sick, vulnerable and desperate people.  Many may remember my expose on Dean Oliver and his brand of CBD products called Sacred Kana, which I first published back in April 2019, which pretty much saw Mr Oliver abandon the selling of his now exposed dodgy CBD oil sales operation… But he was not the only one in on this highly profitable game.  Now once again, I am faced with having to expose yet another dodgy brand of CBD Oil, this time a brand called PH PRO, based out of Slovenia.

CBD Portugal post promoting their pet care range to treat dermatitis

I had for some time been hesitant about purchasing cannabis oils of any kind, as it is almost impossible to tell what percentage of the active ingredients are present in these oils, without having them tested at a proper testing facility, which can be costly.

What prompted me to fall into the trap of purchasing yet another brand of CBD, was the fact that one of my precious kittens has dermatitis, and is in much discomfort.  Upon seeing an advert which came across one of the community pages on Facebook that I administer, I decided to contact the Portugal CBD distributor called Elaine Archer, who dropped a bottle off the next day.

PH PRO brand of premium hemp pet care

PH PRO brand of premium hemp pet care showing 2% CBD content

POOR DOG CHARLIE premium hemp pet care, claims on the label to have a 2% CBD content, which is mixed with a MCT base oil, which is derived from coconut.  After several weeks of usage, the bottle was empty, and there was absolutely no improvement to the condition of my precious kitty’s dermatitis.

TEST CERTIFICATES

Below is an online review of Pharma Hemp, which owns PH PRO, the company that manufactures the brand that I purchased

Pharma Hemp Review

What really surprised me was that no where on the test certificate did it indicate the percentage of CBD content.

I reluctantly agreed to this course of action and attempted to end the conversation, but Elaine Archer was adamant that she wanted to push liability onto me making further comments to the effect of:

“Do not wash the bottle as they will know. It is going back, have no doubts. If I see it has been tampered with then sorry”, to which I responded

“Your desperation to push the liability onto me is absolutely disgraceful. I do not need to wash it. There is NO best before date and NO batch number. Your insinuation is making you look very suspicious indeed.”

At this point, I had had enough.  Not only was there no improvement in my cat’s dermatitis, there was no CBD content listed on the test certificates.  Furthermore, there was no BATCH NUMBER on the test certificate.  There was no BATCH NUMBER and no expiry / BEST BEFORE date on the bottle I had purchased… And it was being insinuated that I had somehow removed the information on the bottles in an attempt to obtain a refund.

We will be testing the CBD oil that we have been sold, as at this stage, we don’t even know if we can call it CBD oil, as there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that it contains any CBD at all.

PART II

I wrote to Pharma Hemp in an attempt to get answers directly from them, and I copied Elaine Archer in on this correspondence.

Dear Sonja
Sonja.Kristan@phpro.net

I recently purchased a bottle of POOR DOG CHARLIE in bacon flavour, from a distributor here in Portugal called Elaine Archer

Despite very promising marketing material posted on Facebook by Elaine Archer, I have not had any results from this vile of Premium Home Pet Care drops.

As a qualified Naturopathic Practitioner and Herbalist, I have had great results with my own CBD oils that I have made in the past, which contain only 1% CBD content.

Due to the disappointing results of this product, I asked Elaine Archer to provide me with the test certificates for this product.

The documentation that I was sent stated that the oils contained 0.2% THC, but there was absolutely no mention of the CBD content anywhere on the test certificates, whilst thhe label on the bottle says that this product contains 2% CBD oil,

The label on the bottle also fails to state the BEST BEFORE date, and it also neglects to state the BATCH NUMBER, and thus, it would be impossible, even with the correct documentation, to assess which batch corresponds with which test certificates.

Without a BATCH NUMBER and BEST BEFORE DATE, your product fails to meet the European Union Consumer Protection Regulations that are set by the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Network.

I am hereby requesting that you send me the required documentation of your testing for this product as soon as possible.

Kindest Regards

THE NEW TEST CERTIFICATE SENT TO ME FROM PHARMA HEMP VIA ELAINE ARCHER

Elaine Archer also wrote to Pharma Hemp and got the following response:

Hi Elaine,

Hemp extract in the product is source of CBD. CBD is not listed separately, since there is no pure CBD added, only the one from hemp extract. Please note we do QC check for cannabinoids on every produced batch according to our GMP system prior to releasing the products. Please see applicable CoA attached. Every bottle is equipped with a label with all required info, including batch number and best before date, which are printed during production process on site. I hope we have helped you.

Best regards.

Tjaša Erman

I got the following response from Pharma Hemp to my letter:

“Dear Mel,

Thank you for your email.

If we were infomed correctly, our customer Elaine already provided you the
certificate of analysis for the product.  Please be informed, that every bottle is equipped with a label with all
required info, including batch number and best before date, which is printed
during the production process on site.
We have no idea how it is possible for a product to lack batch number and
best before. It has never happened before.

Additionally, each batch of products is tested in accredited Pharmahemp
laboratory prior to release.
https://pharma-lab.eu/#services
Scope of accreditation is given in the Annex to the accreditation
certificate and in the List of accredited methods:
https://pharma-lab.eu/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/LP117_22_10_2020.pdf

In case of any doubts regarding potency of our product, please feel free to
send it to a 3rd party accredited laboratory.

Don’t hesitate to contact me in case of any further quieries.

Best regards,

Tjaša Erman
Office & Warehouse Administrator”

Having read both letters, I noticed that there was some discrepancy which I raised with Elaine Archer, which I addressed on Facebook messenger with the following response:

“I simply do not believe their response as my bottle was unmarked with batch number. The comment “Hemp extract in the product is source of CBD. CBD is not listed separately, since there is no pure CBD added, only the one from hemp extract” is a brush off attempt. You can still measure CBD percentage from whole hemp extract. I never used additives and I was able to test my products for CBD percentage.”

I then wrote back to Pharma Hemp with the following email:

“Dear Tjaša Erman

Thank you for responding to my email.

Regarding your comment:

“We have no idea how it is possible for a product to lack batch number and best before.
It has never happened before.”

Well it did happen and I am sure I am not the only one, but I am much more savvy than most people in this area of natural medicine, being a Naturopathic Practitioner and Herbalist, and thus, I know what to look for and the science behind it, hence why I flagged it up.  Most people would not even notice if the batch number or expiry date was missing.

As I am sure you are well aware, the lack of batch number and expiry date means that the product fails to meet the European Union Consumer Protection Regulations that are set by the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Network.

Furthermore, according to the email you sent to Elaine Archer, you claim the following email:

“Hemp extract in the product is source of CBD. CBD is not listed separately, since there is no pure CBD added, only the one from hemp extract”

This statement clearly indicates to me that

!.  You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and you are making really bad excuses hoping that Elaine and / or myself, are stupid enough to fall for such false explanation.  I have extensive knowledge on the manufacturing of CBD oils, having in the past made and tested my own products, which never had any additives, and always the test certificates contained the CBD content, and thus, your explanation is a complete lie.

2.  You have now created a fake test certificate, which was given to me by Elaine Archer, to indicate that your product has 2% as advertised on the label, when in fact you do not actually know what percentage CBD is in the oil, because according to your own words, there is no pure CBD added.

According to your email message, you are the Office & Warehouse Administrator, so I guess it is your job to tell me what ever your company requires in order to protect them.  You have to say what ever you are told, without per se actually knowing the facts, because as clearly indicated from your communication, you do not really know what is going on, as you do not actually make the product, you do not source the material and you are not involved in the labelling process, and thus you really do not know for sure anything that you have claimed in the response email you have sent me.  You have contradicted yourself completely from one communication to the next.

Furthermore, were your company ethical, the correct response from your company should have been an apology, and an offer to replace the mislabelled product that I have been sold by your distributor, with one that you have correctly labelled, with at least 2% CBD content, and with the accompanying corresponding test certificates.  Based upon your response to Elaine Archer, and to myself, I have ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE to indicate that you are operating ethically.

Making poor excuses for such profound negligence is not good enough when you are selling products that are meant for sick, suffering or dying people and animals.

I have now sent in a sample of your product for independent testing facility, and I will let you have the results once we receive them.  I will be sending you the bill for these independent tests, which I have no been forced to conduct as a result of your apparent false information, negligence and ill practice.

Kindest Regards

ELAINE ARCHER

I sent this email to Elaine Archer in full transparency so that she could see the discrepancy in the communications, and how I was exploring it with Pharma Hemp.

Elaine Archer then sent me the following rather shocking vile message via Facebook Messenger:

“Oi vermin, im bored of your bollocks now, so stick your naturopathic crap and all your retarded date shit as far up your ass as as you can before your pervert husband gets a stiffy and has to go whack off infront of the kids club, again..now fuck off… ?”

To which I responded:

“Oh wow… Elaine, That comment about my husband wacking off in front of a kids club… where the hell did that come from? That is total slander. That has never happened. My husband has had erectile disfunction for the last 5 years (actually since 2014)  following on from a injury, hence why we do not have children.  That is seriously cruel and hateful. That is serious slander.  The fact that you even send such a message containing such perverted lies, only indicates your intention to bully me into backing off. I will now be taking this to the GNR, as you have now gone too far. Furthermore, I am not the one in question here. I purchased a product from you, which did not have the expiry date or batch number. The certificate you gave me did not have the percentage CBD that was advertised on the label. As a Conscious Consumer, I have the right to question these matters. So far I have not had a satisfactory response from you or your supplier. My credibility in this matter is not in question. The fact that you try to accuse me of washing the expiry dates and batch number off the bottle is just ludicris, followed by crazy provably false allegations about my husband. Seems I am the one who gave you too much credit by trusting you and purchasing from you to begin with. Your behaviour and allegations towards me and my husband only makes you look guilty as hell.”

MY HUSBAND BIGGI AFTER HIS INJURY IN 2014
MY HUSBAND IN RECOVERY AFTER SERIOUS INJURY IN 2014

I then furnished Elaine Archer with Article 180 of the Portuguese Criminal Code punishes defamation (difamação), which is defined as alleging a fact or formulating a judgment (or reproducing such) about a third person that is offensive to that person’s honour or reputation – with up to six months in prison or a fine of 240 days. http://legaldb.freemedia.at/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/PortugalCriminalDef_IPI_ENG.pdf
One has to wonder… If Elaine Archer was really operating ethically, why she would find the need to sink as low as to levy perverted slanderous false allegations???
Also worth reading is my article entitled FROM ROTTEN ROOTS COME ROTTEN FRUITS
Here you will understand how I came to know Elaine Archer, and the toxic criminal people she is associated with.
The oils which were sold by Elaine Archer have been sent off for independent testing.  I will be publishing the results here…. WATCH THIS SPACE!
